Who we are

theseoatelier is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect

We collect the personal data you give us directly:

  • Contact and enquiry data — name, email address, phone number, company name, and the content of your message, when you use the contact form.
  • Booking and order data — name, email address, phone number, billing address, and company or VAT details, when you book an engagement or place an order through checkout.
  • Technical data — standard web-server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps), and, only if you consent, Google Analytics 4 usage data (see our Cookie Policy).

We do not collect payment card data. Checkout on this site currently runs through a mock, demo-mode payment step — no card details are transmitted, stored or processed by us or by any third party.

  • Contract — to respond to enquiries, process bookings and orders, and deliver the SEO services you purchase.
  • Legal obligation — to keep the accounting and invoicing records French law requires.
  • Legitimate interest — to keep our site secure and working correctly (server logs).
  • Consent — for Google Analytics 4, which loads only after you actively opt in through the cookie consent banner. You can withdraw this consent at any time (see the Cookie Policy).

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and contact-form data for as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable follow-up period, and we keep order, invoicing and accounting data for the period French commercial and tax law requires. Analytics data retention is governed by Google Analytics 4's own settings, applied only once you've consented to analytics cookies.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share data only where necessary to run the site and deliver services:

  • Google Analytics 4 — only if you've consented to analytics cookies.
  • Hosting and email providers — to operate the site and send transactional/booking emails.
  • Any real payment processor, if and when a live payment provider replaces the current demo checkout — this policy will be updated accordingly at that point.

We do not transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA except where a service provider above does so under an appropriate safeguard (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time (for analytics cookies, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal), and the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
