How an engagement actually runs.

From the first audit to the first monthly report — what happens, in order, and what we need from you along the way.

The process

  1. Diagnose

Every engagement starts from a review of your actual site and your actual numbers — not a generic checklist. For most clients this is the SEO Audit; for an existing client adding a new service, it’s a shorter scoping pass.

    Deliverable: a written scope confirmation.

  2. Scope

You get a fixed, itemised package with a stated price, a stated first-deliverable date and a stated reporting cadence — agreed before any work starts.

    Deliverable: the signed package spec.

  3. Build

The studio’s senior consultant does the work directly, on the cadence stated in your package — whether that’s a one-off audit, a monthly retainer, or a day-rate engagement.

Deliverable: the package’s stated output (roadmap, technical fixes, content, links, etc.).

  4. Report

You receive a written update naming exactly what was done — not a dashboard link left for you to interpret alone.

Deliverable: a monthly (or per-engagement) written report.

  5. Review & adjust

For ongoing packages, priorities get reviewed and adjusted against what the data actually shows, on a stated cadence.

Deliverable: a quarterly roadmap review, for monthly engagements.

What we need from you

Access
Analytics and search console access at minimum; staging/dev access for technical work; CMS access if we’re implementing content or on-page changes directly.
A point of contact
One person on your side who can answer questions and approve changes within a reasonable turnaround — engagements stall when nobody’s available to respond.
Honesty about constraints
If your dev team has limited capacity, or your CMS has limitations, tell us at scoping — we’d rather plan around a real constraint than discover it mid-engagement.

Reporting cadence

  • Monthly written update, for every recurring package.
  • Quarterly roadmap review, for monthly engagements.
  • First deliverable stated per package — typically within 10 working days.
  • One-off engagements (audits, sprints, day rates) deliver a single written summary on the turnaround stated for that package.

Tooling & method

We work from your own analytics and search console data as the source of truth, supplemented by standard crawl, keyword-research and rank-tracking tooling appropriate to the engagement. We don't attribute results to tools we can't name or numbers we can't trace back to your own data.

FAQ

How long before we see results?

It depends on the service and your starting point — every package states its first deliverable date, and we’ll give you an honest read on likely timelines at scoping rather than a generic promise.

Do we need a contract, or is it engagement-by-engagement?

Recurring packages (marked "/ month") run on a rolling monthly basis with the cancellation terms in our Refund & Cancellation Policy; one-off packages and engagements are single transactions.

What if we’re not happy with the direction mid-engagement?

Recurring packages include a quarterly roadmap review specifically for this — priorities get reassessed together against what the data shows, not left on autopilot.

Can we pause a monthly package?

Reach out via Contact to discuss — cancellation terms are stated in the Refund & Cancellation Policy; pausing is handled case by case.
